EDITORIAL STANDARD

Editorial & AI-use policy

Readers should be able to tell what was tried, where AI helped, and who made the final publishing decision.

01

Hands-on experience comes first

Soga starts with the scene, conditions, failures, and limitations of actually using a new AI. Press-release or demo claims are not presented as observations. Fact, first-hand experience, interpretation, and testable hypothesis are separated wherever practical.

02

A person approves publication

A person reviews and approves the body, headline, images, video, and translations before publication. If text or media changes after approval, the approval is invalidated and the work is reviewed again. Unapproved samples and internal material cannot substitute for public data.

03

Material AI assistance is disclosed

AI may help organise drafts, translate, caption, suggest image or video treatments, propose edits, and run quality checks. When generative AI creates material prose, imagery, video, or voice, the item identifies that use nearby and states whether a person reviewed it.

  • The human-approved Korean original is authoritative.
  • Other languages are published after AI translation and human review and approval.
  • Synthetic images, video, and voice are labelled so they are not mistaken for documentary records.

04

Sources and reproducible conditions

External facts and numbers link to verifiable primary or authoritative sources where possible. Experiments record the tool or model version, date, input conditions, sample limitations, and other context needed to interpret the result. A stakeholder claim alone is not treated as a general fact.

05

Corrections are visible

Material errors are corrected with the time and substance of the change. If an error reverses the conclusion, material was manipulated, or publication was not approved, the article is held or withdrawn with a stated reason.

06

Commercial relationships stay separate

Sponsorship, supplied tools, and affiliate links are clearly disclosed at the start of the content or near the relevant link. Sponsors receive no right to approve the conclusion or wording. General display advertising is not currently used; if this changes, both this policy version and on-page disclosures will be updated.

07

Boundaries for company and market stories

Soga does not publish confidential company information, identifying information about others, original contracts, or secrets. Company and market examples support explanations of changes in work and life; they are not buy/sell calls, price targets, or personalised investment advice.

08

Reader data is not raw content material

Visitor analytics and community submissions are not copied directly into external AI systems. If a submission may inform content, its purpose is checked, identifiers and confidential details are removed, and material with publication risk is used only with separate permission or not used.
